Value of Texture in a mural
Texture adds a fascinating quality to a mural or wall art work. It is unmistakeably hand made in an age of easily digitally reproduced printed art . It requires considerably more skill to produce. It is appreciated for its tactile qualities by novice and professional alike. This mural was produced using artists gesso built up with a variety of tools , sculpting then staining to produce a monochromatic embossed effect.
