Adding Highlights With Washes


 Above: I like to wash over the texture areas to add an even sheen to lighten and highlight or darken areas to enhance the strength of the form
Here I am adding highlights with a bottle of fluid white 
acrylic to my wave foam portions to add depth and snap 
and texture.   It is acrylic, and will shrink by about half.
