Adding washes To Textures To Enhance Brushstrokes

Washes in glaze form or with water thinly applied over a textural base give highlights to the textures.  When warm tones like raw sienna are used it adds to the feeling of sunlight, when cool washes in the shadow areas are added, it adds to the interior depth.  Here are a couple of videos that show me adding that to the base I illustrated in a previous post "Building the Base"
The first video will show a simple warm glaze over the water to create a color combination in transparency.
The next two glazes show more complex editing features too glazing technique.
